The
success of the SWIS District today is in no small part a result of
the responsible leadership of those that
contributed unselfishly before us. This page is dedicated to the success of our
past leaders.
Paul Jacobsen, Bud Magnuson, Dwaine Sievers
and Ken Sprain were Governors prior to the split. The old WISUM (Wisconsin/Upper
Michigan) District was split into the SWIS (Southern Wisconsin) and WINUM
(Wisconsin North/Upper Michigan) Districts starting in the 1993 - 1994 Optimist
Year.
